Foundation University

Foundation University recently launched its new academic direction aimed at making academia a leader in instruction, research, and community development founded on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the 4th Industrial Revolution and 21st-century learning. A reorganization of the various academic units to reflect clusters of SDGs is underway where applied science, sustainable business, technology, environmental preservation, arts and humanities, and global citizenship are given emphasis. It has also made entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship a requirement for all students to take regardless of their academic program. The University has also prioritized the establishment of Centers that supplement and complement the academic units. A center for Executive and Professional Development was launched in 2017. In March 2019, the Yunus Social Business Center was established as the 70th YSBC around the world. A center on Responsible Business and Responsible Artificial Intelligence is in the pipeline.
