ALSE-OF LIFE

The ALSE OF-LIFE is an empowerment program targeting overseas Filipinos (OFs), mostly working in ‘3 D’ types of jobs: (dirty, difficult, de-skilling and sometimes demeaning or dangerous.) The program aims to transform their mindsets particularly for the overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and their families and provide them with basic skills on Leadership, Social Innovation, Financial Literacy, and Social Entrepreneurship towards becoming changemakers in their communities and in society. The ALSE OF-LIFE Program used to be the Ateneo Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship Program for Overseas Filipinos (ALSE). Since the program started in 2008 in Rome, Italy, over 3,500 migrant Filipinos and their family members are taking the course/ graduated in 14 countries and 24 cities in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East/North Africa as well as 7 cities and municipalities in the Philippines.
